Rising Dutch duo CUT_ share their latest single “Cry.”
“Cry” offers a mesmerizing slice of playful alt-pop drawing on a myriad of influences from pop, soul, RnB and electronica. The song is highlighted by strong melodic vocals and uplifting rhythmic instrumentation reminiscent of Big Wild or ODEZSA.
When speaking on the creation of “Cry” the duo reveal that they, “wanted to achieve a dreamy, melancholic yet danceable feel for this song. Taking inspiration from artists we love such as Burial and Caribou, we took our time to find the perfect balance between those 3 elements.”
