LA-based duo Coast Modern recently released a psychedelic and funky cover of MGMT’s classic tune “Electric Feel.”
This is the first release we’ve seen from Coast Modern since the duo released their debut self titled LP last year.
The cover features a plethora of synth work and a groovy bass line. It’s an upbeat reinterpretation that lyrically stays true to the original while remain unique and providing completely fresh instrumentation. Production of the drums are also notably heavier than some of Coast Modern’s previous work and plays at a club-ready rhythm.
