Abc Dialect return with a music video of their single “Stay With Us” premiering today on Casablanca Sunset.
Earlier this year, the nomadic Buenos Aires-based duo released the “Stay With Me” single via the French label imprint Kitsuné Musique. The two recording the single with a full band in Berlin at Butterama Studios and was produced by Daniel Nentwig of The Whitest Boy Alive.
The video accompaniment for ‘Stay with Me’ is a cinematic dreamscape starring, and conceived by, the duo themselves. French directors Maxime Berger & Juana Wein beautifully capture, entirely in 16mm film, Abc Dialect’s phantasm of esoteric and cultural influences in a lo-fi veneration of a bygone era.
Sonically, the single features bright melodic piano chords, blissful groovy bass, dreamy synths and smooth summery vocals. Similar to previous Abc Dialect singles, “Stay With Me” is infectiously catchy and on repeat. Stream below!
